I’m excited to be teaching photography again…

For many years, I taught photography to adults and teens in my Crabapple/Milton studio. I’m very happy to say that I am kicking off a new round of photo workshops for hobbyists and business owners!

My hands-on photography workshops are taught either in my Woodstock studio or in selected locations around North Atlanta. They are designed to give everyone from beginners to all types of business owners real skills they can use immediately. My goal is for every person to leave feeling more confident behind the camera, whether to grow your own art or to support your own business.

for Beginners & Hobbyists

Perfect for beginner photographers who are ready to move beyond Auto mode - this class will help you understand how to use your camera with confidence in any situation.

If you’ve been relying on automatic settings and feel unsure how to make adjustments yourself, this is the perfect place to start. You’ll learn the basics of shutter speed, aperture, & ISO, and how these three settings work together to create well-exposed photos.

The class is straight-forward, hands-on, & easy to follow, so you can start applying what you learn right away. You’ll develop a clear understanding of how to shoot in manual mode & the confidence to start experimenting with your camera.

Classes are limited to a small group to allow for personal instruction & shooting practice and take place in our Woodstock studio. Bring your digital SLR camera & lens. Refreshments provided & all attendees leave with detailed notes from the class.
