Ash has taught photography workshops for years…

I built my photography career from the ground up after first working in advertising and covering celebrity weddings. Since then, I have photographed hundreds of weddings, families & brands, built a six figure photography business, and taught photography to many hobbyists and emerging photographers in the SouthEast.

My hands-on photography classes & workshops are taught either in my Woodstock studio or in various locations around Atlanta. They are designed to give hobbyists & emerging photographers real skills they can use immediately. My goal is for every student to leave feeling more confident behind the camera and more skilled in their decision making.

for Individuals & Hobbyists

Perfect for beginner photographers who are ready to move beyond Auto mode - this class will help you understand how to use your camera with confidence.

If you’ve been relying on automatic settings and feel unsure how to make adjustments yourself, this is the perfect place to start. You’ll learn the basics of shutter speed, aperture, & ISO, and how these three settings work together to create well-exposed photos.

The class is simple, hands-on, & easy to follow, so you can start applying what you learn right away. You’ll leave with a clear understanding of how to shoot in manual mode & the confidence to start experimenting with your camera.

These classes are limited to a small group to allow for personal, hands-on instruction and shooting practice and take place in our Woodstock studio. Bring your digital SLR camera & lens. Refreshments provided & all attendees leave with detailed notes from the class.
